The 1.5-way worked really well on this car, 66% maybe still is a little
strong for street tires especially in low speed turns, but with real
R-comp, or with slicks, should be perfect.

Very nice work. We will have to decide how we want to configure our other
Carbonetic diff also.

On July 4th, 2010, Ryan Gates and the Gates311.com / Nitto Tires Evo X finished 3rd for the first time in Redline Time Attack’s Modified Class at Willow Springs Raceway.

……(extract) I was unable to better my 1st session time of 1:26.5 and had to settle for 3rd place for the first time in my Redline career. Not very pumped on that, but I guess you need to take the good with the bad and move on.

CARBONETIC Carbon Rear LSD: ACMRB8710

The Carbonetic rear LSD performed flawlessly. Compared to using the factory
LSD, the new unit allowed our Evo to get on the power sooner and maintain a
tighter line. It helped a lot through the tighter turns and made for much
stronger corner exits. Our Project Evo IX ended up winning the Continental
Tires Evo vs. STI Shootout and took 4th place at the Super Lap Battle Street
AWD class the next day in its first outing with the LSD. Here’s to going
faster in the future!

On November 11th, 2009, Ryan Gates competed for the first time in Super Lap Battle’s Limited Class with great success. Ryan won Limited class and also set a new class record in the process, the first Limited car to go under the 1:50 barrier with a 1:49.8.

On November 15th, 2009, Ryan Gates continued his success with Redline Time Attack by winning Modified Class at the Season Finale at Auto Club Speedway. In the process, Ryan also set the new Modified AWD track record with a 1:43.4.
