FULL CARBON!!

Dear All CARBONETIC Fan; Long-Awaited Full Carbon Clutch is finally landed to US!  Even though it is a proto type, the final test in Japan has been done already. It just came for taking the final-final test for US Customers. Riceboy TV shot the film for us. Check this out!

Instllation for the Carbon Clutch!!

Did you seen the instllation of carbon LSD on the previous article?

I will show you how a clutch is installed today!!

1) This is the 350Z transmission case.

2) Remove the mission case with a transmission jack. It is very important to use the jack.

3) Now you can see the stock clutch. Then remove the clutch cover, disc and flywheel.

4) 350Z end of the crank.

5) Flywheel assembly. Please make sure to use  the right tightening torque for the flywheel bolts.

6) Install the carbon discs, clutch hub, middle plate, pressure plate and clutch cover assy.

7) Align the discs and the hub to the center of the crank shaft with a centering tool.

8) Input shaft assembly.

9) Assemble the transmission case. Please use the transmission jack.

10) Almost done! Sometimes it is hard to assemble the input shaft into the clutch plates, but don’t shake the mission case hard. Shaking the case causes to damage the carbon discs.

Installation for the Carbon LSD!!

Have you ever seen how a LSD is installed? 
Today I will show you that. Let’s see!!

1) Remove the LSD oil from the pumpkin.

2) Uninstall the pumpkin with jack.

3) 350Z pumpkin.

4) Inside view of the pumpkin.
    The LSD is ready to be taken out.

5) Stock parts: shaft, LSD, ring gear for 350Z.

6) Inside of the pumpkin after taking off the LSD,
    you car see the pinion gear.

7) Left:   Stock LSD
    RIght: “CARBONETIC” carbon LSD

8) Install the new stock bearing and ring gear.

 9) Tightening the ring gear bolts with right torque.

10) Install the “CARBONETIC” LSD into the pumpkin.

11) Adjust the back lash. This is important. 
If you don’t do this correctly, it causes the noise 
and might lead to an early damage to the ring and pinion.

12) Completely set it up into the pumpkin.

13) Pumpkin is reinstalled to the body.
